Will’s first tee-ball game was tonight. He did a great job and seemed to enjoy it. Thankful for great coaches and friends on our team this year!

BEFORE: Boo! Our playground is all muddy. AFTER: Yea! We cleaned it up and mulched. Had fun with our family cleanup project today. Good for the kids to get their hands dirty!
This student (on the left) just got baptized Sunday before last! Awesome to see what God has done in her life. Just a couple of years ago, she was an atheist. Then her friends started inviting her to come to Veritas and one of our small group Bible studies. God has changed her life and drawn her to Christ!
This is unbelievable. Page CXVI, my favorite worship band, is offering all of their music for FREE this month only to celebrate their 7 years of music ministry. They rearrange hymns with rich theological content and put them to powerful, moving music. If you haven’t heard Page CXVI before, I highly highly recommend them. Their music has nourished and strengthened my soul so often! Rock of Ages, You have redeemed my soul, Solid Rock, and In Christ Alone are some of my favs. You can download it here for free. There are 5 hymns albums and some of their other projects as well. Thanks Page CXVI!
Enjoying seeing Ushio and Noriko Shinohara, famous Japanese artists, after the new documentary about them (“Cutie and the Boxer”) at True/False Film Festival. Good film about the rewards of enduring the hardships of work and marriage.
Great talks by Jerram Barrs on “What Heaven will be like,” Dan Doriani on “The Power of Repentance,” and many more on topics such as delighting in God, rethinking beauty, brotherhood, etc. We think you will really enjoy and benefit from them.
3 of my favorite things: fruit slushes, chips and salsa, and Will. Will and I are having a Daddy-Son date for lunch today. Awesome how we like the same things!
New LUX Winter Conference video! About 130 students joined us in St Louis for a weekend of great teaching and relationship building. The background music is a song our worship team wrote especially for the conference. One of our students made the video for us. It’s a little long but maybe you can at least check out the first couple minutes and see the faces of our great students.
Here’s a panorama of Veritas last week - still packed! We are now in the middle of a series on the life of Elijah. Please pray that God uses it to change lives. Click on the picture to see it larger.
